Question

Are you sure,You do know that you can not bring your sheep with you?Are thinking perm,or just a stint. And do you want to do the bush flying thing, the contract thing or big plane thing?
Is the flying not good enough downunder.I can name many a African Pilot who would gladly pack up and fly in Oz if the licences held.

1.Too over-regulated downunder.
2.Anything not documented there is forbidden.
3.Don't have PAPIS downunder.
4.Salaries are poor downunder.

...and more

Don't blame him from wanting to move out. Give Africa a go it will be good to you.

Exmouth,

Maun, Botswana, Check out the threads- plenty of Aussies there to help smooth the transition- just have to wean yourself off VB, plenty of substitutes though.
Try Rossair also. Know they are looking for Capts, but maybe also co jos for the DHC-6/B200/B1900 and you may have a run at that with your time. They can only say no, right?
Nothing too scary about these parts, just keep your head down, your eyes open and pack a high BS tolerance level.

Just to clarify, AF1, most Aussies prefer cattle, we leave the sheep to our smaller Kiwi cousins
