Post U.A.C Harare ??

Anyone from United Air Charters out there at all ?

Just want to know what's happening now that Rhubarbi is really stuffing the place up, I guess that things are pretty bad....

Is UAC still operating? Is that over stuffed, manupalating Brooks still there? What a year I had with them and the after effects of it still with me, despite that I'm now steering a B747.
Still recruiting foreigners, is she? Good luck you guys.

Cool

the UAC management is now probably totally different to when you guys were there. In fact even the name has changed. Remember Zambezi Air Services? Well in about '93 or so the two merged to become United Air Services and retained the UAC/Hunting tail. All the a/c looked very flash with their new clothes, but Aerotech took care of that!!
New MD is Hardman, can't confirm if he's still though as I've kind of lost touch. From all reports though, there's probably not 1000hrs of experience between all the pilots. One Trislander was sold to a greasy Greeek in '99, I believe the other followed shortly. A bunch of Barons sold to basically leave the fleet with a couple of Islanders and some C-206's. The usual battle in Kariba with Pegasus swinging both ways regularly, who has it now?
There must be dozens of us over here, lets have a reunion!!!
Bumi, Bumi, United.

Thumbs up

Yes indeed, anyone with any sense is out of Zim (for now) - who's up for starting aviation up again when Mugabe's been disposed of......

Brookes was still there when I left after my time with UAC.
It seems that many of the guys are now at MK. Louis, Sean, Darryl etc .

Gurnzee, I suspect you're flying JOEY, or were. Are you on the Saab these days as I overtake you when I fly LGW to JER and GCI ?

Nyajena rules OK.....

White knight you have me thinking. Do you come to both islands. I flew joey for a while but now skipper the Saab. Coincidently I spoke to Louis today, he might be in the islands on the w/end, fancy joining us for a drink? I suppose you are on a puddle jumping jet are you. It's always fun to see who is going to get in ahead.I've just had a thought, did I say howzit to you the other day?

Howdy,

I don't suppose White Knight is a fairly tall chap who used to have a fondness for Ranch House Chilli and MFC cheeseburgers.

6mileshigh, are you flying the MK 747 ? Send me an e-mail at [email protected]

And you too Gurnzee.. I often pop into Aurignys offices when I'm down in GCI and JER. (the ATR does GCI most of the time, but we take the jet in on Sat. mornings)

Happy flying blokes...
