cheap way to get up to dar es salaam

does anyone know of a cheap way to get up to dar es salaam from south africa ?

i got a job offer there but the flight tickets are steep ...

i heard there might be some cargo flights out of lanseria ?

any help would be great

Try getting a cheap flight on Air Zimbabwe or speak to COASTAL AIR and see if they have anything going up or down. There is,nt much cargo out of Lanseria chum

Maybe you can score a "lift" with somebody? If I look at the airlines, the cheapest is Air Tanzania for about R4000 return, and one way with SAA
R1900 incl taxes.
Both pretty much a ripp off if you think about the distance..

thanks for the info !

i found a flight on zambian airlines for R1500 one way , but didnt find any

return tickets at the begining on 2008.

the question is how do i get in on a one way ticket because im sure ill be

able to find a way down once im there...

fish Ask the boss!

Walla, why not ask the company who are recruiting to cough up the price of the flight? If they are so keen to have you they should have no problem with the funding - even if it is deducted from future salary!
