West African Cargo

Rumor has it that WAL-Gambia operating as West African Link is in the process of reactivating its AOC #003/2004. Operations are to start near the end of January with a B727 or B737 cargo plane with hubs in Banjul and Lagos. Any comments.

AC purchased

Looks like WAL just put money down on a Kitty Hawk B727-223F. Buying from a broker in Florida. Operations to begin 1 February flying the ECOWAS countries plus a couple of border ones.

Gambia

I just heard that WAL is starting up with a 737 passenger aircraft. Any truth to that rumor?
