Aircrash Next To N7 Cape Town
Seasons greetings to all.
Can anyone throw any light on the AC accident next to the N7 Cape Town this w/end. Sunday's midday news stated that a light aircraft went down with two onboard and at least the Pilot died at the site.
A local Policeman on duty that day said that he believed it was the Bosbok based at Morningstar.
Another contact said it was a microlite that did a low tight turn after take off at Morningstar air field and stalled.
So far, nothing more has been said or seen on the networks.
My heart goes out to the Pilot's family and all those affected by the accident.

"Knew" the pilot Alf.
The same pilot who didn't "know" the life-preserving technique of keeping one's airspeed and g-loading within those required to keep his aircraft flying. The same pilot whose family and friends will desperately miss him. The same pilot who could have been here today if he'd respected the basic principles of flight.
Sad. We all know that.

Thanks for the info 4HP.
I think that should be an eye opener/reminder for many.
I saw in the local paper that it was infact a Bush Baby. I recognised the livery on the wings.
Best wishes
