Bush Flying

A lot of talk about bush flying and hours to be flown amongst us lowtimers, seems to be one of the classic stories that just have to be told! I trained for a while in S.Africa and by the talk there it was not so easy to come by(but still possible) and in such an abundance as one would think when beeing stuck here in Europe and listeing to stories.
Has anyone outthere any solid advice on how to get hold of those jobs? Lingering around airfields in the bush, dodging lions and canibals? Tour companies, charter hires... etc?
