Eclipse Question

Some parts of the world are at the moment experiencing eclipse especially Nigeria and Ghana and i am curious to know whats happens to aircrafts that are airborne at the time of the eclipse?
Also, was any ppruner airborne at the time? share your experience?

Rivers of blood flowed, plagues of frogs and locusts stalked the land and firstborn children became vampires.

As for the rest of the country, the weather was fine and mild with occasional cloud.....

Actually, no change. Just slightly darker than normal, sort of like an overcast but with fairly clear skies.

Nothing dude , they just keep on trucking!

Well at least nothing happened to us last year when there was one over SA. We were at FL 350 and watched it as it happenedand there was zero effect on our flight.

Hope it helps!

WE WERE SUCKED IN TO A MAGNETIC FIELD.
It took the tech crew several moments to regain control of the aircraft.
We managed to pull free and decend to a safer altitude.

Never again will I fly in an eclipse!

Devil

We took the cautious route and diverted at the first sign of darkness. I did however, see an aircraft out there flying with his landing light on. Probably try to waterski an aircraft next!!!!
