Hs.748 ZS-XGZ wrecked on landing in Sudan? (merged)

Hi all,
looking on confirmation and perhaps additional details of below message:

ZS-XGZ c/n 1740 was wrecked in Southern Sudan; must likely reregistered to 5Y-TCA for Trackmark Cargo, it overran a runway and wrecked its rh mainlandinggear, damaged props, flaps and belly: damaged beyond economic repair and probably left to rot.

Any confirmation to this, more details?
thx
Rudi

Runway – 600 m
Cargo – 6 000 kg.

Pity that is.....allot of hard work went into converting her into a cargo version 748,allot of sweat at the SACAA,Mod Approvals,STC's etc, she left FALA about a year ago, fresh engines and props, new paint job, literally as good as new.......
AWA..........Africa wins again!!!!

748 into Old Fangak....not surprised. Thought the UN was serious about their commitments in aviation.......put the Turbine Daks back in.....

Seems a bit dubious of even thinking of putting a 748 into a 600 metre strip

Is this aircraft being repaired or sold off?
What is the present value?
What damage was done?
Understand repairer in Far East is looking for spares for a rebuild.

Sad

Sad to see such a fine aircraft lost ... turbo Dak, Buff or Andover its a tricky strip ... glad all crew walked safely and sympathies to TRACKMARK who did not deserve that one
