R22 shootup gone wrong

Downwind take off in an R22.
Turned around and did a "shoot up" upwind.
Turned again, did a shootup downwind.
Fell out the sky.
Picked this up from another forum. Apparently involving an accident on Friday. What is the latest PPrune info?

It was not the take-off downwind nor the shoot-ups that caused the R44 to fall out of the sky - It was the sudden stop of the tailrotor.

Fortunately the fall was broken by some trees , pilot(60hr PPL) and passenger sustained only minor cuts & bruises.

fracture of t/r driveshaft at t/r gearbox end.
