Reminds me somewhat of the time when the Sandton police were donated seven or eight M535 BMWs.
Whilst the boys in beige were working out how to drive such beasties, they crashed nearly all of them.
This led to a sort of general question along the lines of: 'What did you want them for in the first place?'
The answer to that specific question with this amatuer athletic aircraft ? Can it possibly be? A training bed for Mad Dog Bob's reject pilots?

Wow! Its a nice fighter aircraft! Single engine, short range, little weapons, perfect for a regional deterrent!

Now if goldfish needed bicycles....

And Gunss say .. what a waist of chopper fuel ...

PS: What are those ammo cases doing hovering above the aircraft in question ?

Simulating an ejection ?

PS: Are you oke's pulling our legs - ONE engine only ?

Double intake .. single exhaust manifold - new technology maybe ?

RealORca - would love some comments from a REAL vlamgat (and of course Pontius ... die Pilot.

One engine....

Don't push it, it's the new SA, managing one engine should be enough workload in that dept. (even with FADEC) as it is, one less to break too, eishh, keep it simple.

The boys from Zim will love these....fighter training, hey full circle again, where's Nigel Hugh Richard (N.H.R.) Bridges these days? He must surely have a great chuckle!

Spotty?

Pointer 41, wheres the Regional threat that requires such an expenditure??
I think you could gather a few of some of those folks I met at this years Chopper Reunuion, put them in a couple Alouettes and a Harvard or two and they could kick anyones ass to the North of you.

Are you fecking blind, that rear seat is cleared for up to fifty PAX

Gunss

How is it a "waste" of Chopper fuel

It might be a gatherer of dust but I don't see how it will waste fuel

Lovely day on Mud Island, so I'm on the sauce.........

Cheers,

Note the rather interesting place they have put the "budgie in a bottle top" national insignia. Perhaps the fuz is needed for Nando Ads to pay for the fuel..

I see you have a bit of Dutch courage

If all goes well I will be there next Saturday to watch my first Footie game.

Crystal Palace at home to devision leaders Sheffield United.

And that night .... home for a week or three ...

Waist of chopper fuel - even when on static display

Look it works

And specially for the new guys – they’re cutting down on pilot workload – won’t get anyone forgetting the gear down bit in one of these
