Dash 8 Captains
Dont know if it is the same operator, But spoke to a training captain in Sudan, And he is looking for dash 8 rated captains with 500 hours on type (UN requirement) Based in Nairobi with aircraft in Karthoum and another going to Kabul soon.
He told me salary is $5000.00. And they pay all your extras.
I will post his contact details shortly (lying in my room and to lazy to go there now)

Hi Warren,
Thanks for the gen. The first batch of engineers left for canada to do the technical course. Apparently many SA crew also looking at it ?. Lots of pilots looking for a way to hedge against the enevitable decline of the ZAR maybe ?.

I'm game! Living and working in europe is fine, but it's not home. Looking forward to some new info...
By the way... a whole bunch of F100s reappearing in Europe. Most of them discarded US Air and AA aircraft. Have any appeared in SA skies yet? I would be game (and rated!) for those too!!
