Wimbi Dira Airways Sabreliner landing incident at BRAZZA

A Sabreliner Owned by Tim Roman (the owner of the DC-3 that crashed at Kalima recently) and operated by Wimbi Dira Airways Kinshasa was involved in a landing incident at Brazzaville. The pilot claimed the Thrust reversers wouldnt deploy and the brakes failed. In actual fact the aircraft left the runway due to a locked main wheel the farming thereafter damaging the wheels brakes and tyres. The pilot said he was a Belgian..rumor has it he was not type rated on the Sabre.............
