Kulula Fleet

Hi all,

I have the Kulula fleet down as the following, can anyone confirm or correct this?

6 - MD-82s
3 - Boeing 737-200s and 737-400s

Also, what is the seat config. on the different a/c types?

Cheers guys!

Mr Henry
I see you are still following kulula progress after all this time…!
You are correct with the MD’s, but only two 737’s in kulula colors, a couple of white ones to help in the busy times. The 732 take 120 odd pax and the 734 165 . The MD drivers will have to help with their pax figures but it is probably 175. Hope that helped!

Well let's be honest shall we. I'm sure the management prefer the MD's what with the current price of fuel.

And clearly that's all that matters!!

Lowest Cost Wins!

I thank you

I thought the MD's had 164 seats?

easyJet's A319's have 156 seats!!! And Ryanairs 737-800's have 189 seats. So, I think they're both doing alright!

The MD is the smaller aircraft; it takes 154 pax, the B734 takes 162 in kulula configuration.

(and uses less fuel)...

Confused the 727’s with the MD. It was in fact the 727 that could take 175 pax in Kulula configuration.

Goldfish, can’t comment on the superior fleet, but superior airline- most definitely.

Fire away!

Druk die f@#^%$ groen knoppie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
