Air Katanga/ITAB

Hi,

Can anyone give a definate situation on these two carriers ?

Did ITAB cease operations in 2000 with their aircraft going to Air Katanga or have they restarted again now as Air Katanga doing business as ITAB.

Hope someone can help as on a previous thread it was only confirmed that they were two different operators.

Regards
Marc

ITAB

I saw a BAC 1-11 (9Q-CDY) in Kisangani (DRC) in ITAB colours last week. Not sure what is going on with the company but they do fly in ITAB colours.
Maybe some UN pilots in DRC can give more info.
