Lions under Cessna
Hi Guys
Can anyone point me in the direction of that fab photo of a pride of lions sleeping in the shade of an aircraft.
I've searched high and low with no luck, so any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers
CL

One of the local mags had some pics of cheetahs sitting on the cowl and wing of a C206 in Bots a couple of years back. Apparently it took a while to get them to move so the pilot and pax could do the necessary.

I believe this shot was taken at Olkiombo Airstrip, Masai Mara, Kenya. There are only two paved strips in the park - Olkiombo and Keekorock and the background to these photos looks like the Oloololo Escarpement which is closer to Olkiombo
It's simple really
The Let L410 UVP-E9 is certificated based on JAR-25 by the Czech Republic and approved for operation in Denmark, India, Djibouti, Bolivia, Costa Rica and Kenya.
; whereas the Let 410 UVP-E20 is certificated based on FAR23/34 by the Czech Republic, Sweden, Brazil, Denmark, Argentina, and approved for operation in South Africa.

Pisscats? You sound like those airline monkeys who always knock the charter and contract boys but secretly would give up major body parts themselves to get out of the high speed computer controlled offices they infest and do some real flying.

Quite a few E20s operating on the Kenya register as well. As far as I know the E9 is approved for freight operations in SA. The lack of extra emergency exits found on the E20 precludes it from pax operations in SA.

SRT,
Sorry to dissapoint you mate. As for me - I have a lot of friends in the airlines as well as contract/charter boys(girls) so I'm not badmouthing anybody.
As an ex-chopperdriver, anything that doesn't have a rotor is a pisscat. As a lot of members in the fling wing establishment would agree.
SRT - I left the bait but didn't expect you to take it.
