No It is not the Convair 580's.
The Convair's are with Court Helicopters and SAFAIR has sold them ages ago. ( In 91 )
It is 748's we used to call the "K.ff.r bokke" when Spoorties used them to fly to the Transkei (Still had the Springbok on the orange tail in those days) in the 70's?
It is actully parked next to SAFAIR at the smaller northern hangar?
I think Johan used to be with Regional in 1991-2 ??

I seem to remember that George van Zyl worked for them.
Is he still there ?
Anybody knows his contact details ? I know he lives in Somerset West.
Cheers and thanks

2 748's bought and to be operated by the new owners of Cape Aero Services. Unknown what for and imagine Safair will do the maintenance until they have a 748 L.A.M.E.
Rumour has it all licenced staff have left or are leaving Cape Aero due to new management woes!

Está servira para distraerle.
There is a brilliant and audacious retired pilot sitting in the UK with a somewhat expired ZA/ATPL, type rated on the 748, with a TRE/Gd 11 rating on the same machine. He's thorough enough to make sure that the pilots he trains don't crash the machines. He doesn't (usually) make spelling mistakes. Are they hiring?
