Info needed on Kulula and Comair.

Hi,

I am searching for some info on recruitment at Kulula and Comair.
Are they presently recruiting and what are they looking for...

Thanks for your help.

Rgds, Bokkie449.

There was a thread on this a while ago. Comair is the company, they operate both the Kulula brand and the BA franchise - company pilots fly both brands on the 737, the MD-82 pilots fly only Kulula (at this stage). There is expansion and there have been a number of new-hires, with more to come. With an ATP you'll start as Senior First Officer. Better get the CV in, the queue is long...

The queue is quite long....

Heard last night that they have over 500 CVs all of which meet the min requirement, including a few from SAA.........

Imminent expansion including new destinations like George, Kruger Intl, Bloem and East London, plus a few more aircraft can only mean they are going places (pardon the pun and with no reference to Peter Stuyvesant!!!)

What a winner that advert was - pity they had to remove it from the airwaves!

Good luck though if you apply there - you certainly won't go wrong - it must be the place to go to - even the old toppies at SAA want their kids to go there in preference to SAA. Must tell you something

Great thanks for the replies, I am current on A320 and B737, does Kulula have any plans for any of the above types?
Cheers Bokkie.

At the moment Comair is operating B737-200/-300/-400 and MD-82, with no plans to convert to Airbus.
