Civair Hangar (with pics)
Took a drive past the GA area at FACT. As you enter the area there's a hangar being built for CIVAIR.... and in true CIVAIR fashion it’s made of second hand metal sheets, some of which look a bit rusty! Makes you wonder what's next!

PS, the hangar looks big enough to accommodate one 747 engine - so the question is, where is he going to build the hangars for the other three engines? LOL!!

The Hangar is not for the 747, but for all the scrap thats lying around his wooden shack. Furthermore, I'm sure that he will now move his helo AMO from the Waterfront to the airport. When he got kicked out his rented hangar at the airport, he moved his Helo AMO to the Waterfront. The SOP's there prohibit any form of maintenance but Cluver asked "special" permission to the Waterfront Company, and they granted him temporary permission to operate his AMO at the Waterfront whilst his hangar was being built at CT International.
Needless to say, he's had his AMO at the Waterfront for 2 years now, and always had an excuse when questioned about when it was gonna move.
If Cluver maintains helicopters like he builts hangars, then it is clear why his helicopters are so tatty and in ****ty condition.
Poor guy, tries hard, but is always on a short cut. Maybe he learnt from his neighbours, or they learnt from him.
