"RVSM" - FAA/JAA etc meaning - we all know what it means.
"RVSM" - Africa meaning - Really Very Serious Matters - Africa don't give a damn. Like Aids, like democracy, like freedom of speech, like...all that counts is the Gravy Train. Like Boksburg, GT is all that counts!

Middle East RVSM= North Africa Falls under this RVSM
Guys,
RVSM is already operative on this continent of Africa-North Africa. We operate through it daily/nightly.
Cairo FIR to be exact falls under ME RVSM-"Middle East", except for airway R2 between position DITAR and ATMUL.
Bottome line-Africa has RVSM already!
