Situation in Maun this season.

hi all,

Am still tossing up wether to come to Maun or not. Hows the situation looking for this season-any chance of work for CPL Newbies or would I be wasting god knows how many thousands of dollars by coming over and camping out for a few months?Even if no work is forthcoming is it worth coming out just to get your face and cv known in anticipation of work in the following years season? Any genuine advice gratefully accepted.

This old Maun donkey has been beaten to death! Do a search....there is plenty of good information.

Suffice to say, if you aren't there, they aren't going to hire you.

If you are there, they might.

Try and contact fellow Cantabrians who've worked in Maun. There should be a few in the Chch environs. Ask around at some of the aeroclubs there. You should be able to get some good info from people who know.

hi all

im on my way to maun on the 3rd or jan next year.
I take it you have read the thread about maun and wot to do.
that is all im doing just taking that advice and im working on the theory that if im not there then i wont get hired.
