DC-10 at JNB

Heard they belong to Executive Aerospace. Looks like another company with some positive grow in these difficult times. Wonder who is going to crew them? Hopefully some more job oppertunities.

The iffy looking aircraft belong to Interlink not Executive. Heard they will be put on the RSA register next year (in the mean time undergo repainting if you know what I mean) and be utilised on Haddj flights.(heard that one before)

They are dc10-10s and so are rather range limited to carry out any hadj work?. They are apperently going to be used by a mining company to transport its workers. They where purchased by the ex tech director for a small fee.

The reason that they where to be scrapped was the fact that they are due d checks and so it was not deemed ecomomical to keep them in service.

I had heard that Nationwide were due to get 2 MD11s, as Vernon had not been able to source anymore B767s suitable for his operation.
