Zero Jet A-1 @ Plett

FYI,

Due to the shambles with the sale of Plett Airport by the Municipality, take note that nobody is driving the show. Hence the lack of a Notam to tell people that they have removed the Jet -A1 tank. To my knowledge, the fuel will only be in place again from Nov 1,2004.

The tender was awarded last week to a developer from Pretoria. The upgrade of Plett will involve lenghtening to 1800mX30m,ILS,landing lights, terminal and apron. Serious work will commence after "Silly Season" in 2005
