Arrow Air Namibia MD11's

Saw a P&W powered MD11 being towed in FRA today in Air namibia coulours and Namibian registration. Could it be an ex-Swiss aircraft? More coming or just one?

Just one, JJ.

Yes, it is ex Swissair. A wet lease to begin with while Namibia's crews are trained. Meant to be a stop-gap, but in Africa.....who knows?

V5-NMC is the aircrafts registration, L/N 484

It is on a dry lease, not a wet one. Contracted crews are used during the training period for SW's own crew.

The aircraft is a former Swissair aircraft, which was parked in J'burg and Mojave. Since 01.09 in service for initially 15 months
