Companies in Africa

Searching the net for companies to apply to is an exhausting thing to do, over the past few years I think I have applied to most however.........

.......Is there a list anywhere on the net of operators in Africa??????

I have 500hrs and want to get into the world of African aviation. the thought of an airline job at 25 turns my stomach- I want to live a little first!

Any help greatly apprieciated.

Interesting Post. So airlines turn your stomach at 25.....Lets say that at 500 hours you may turn theirs. Most of the Boys and Girls today who have the chance to get hired by the majors usually sit around 3000 hours and most of that in Twin Turbine....
So you can live a bit, but you should start looking towards getting the right times in your logbook or like so many you will no longer be 25, but 45 and have nothing more than a lot of living and story book hours without the ability to have a retirement in place.
As an older guy, I can tell you that you do not want to be worrying about an income/retirement around age 55..
I also wanted to live a little at 25 and I dont know what made me do it but I worked so that now at age 61 they just pay me to wake up in the morning and will be very happy when I quit doing that. In the meantime I will spend their money and fly a bit more, but.........bottom line is....I dont have too.
Good Luck, get your CFI, whatever, build time and make yourself marketable. Life is short, enjoy it if you can.......
