Come on boys and gals ... the thread was lost somewhere in a Huey one ..
What date / time / where etc .. ???
Landed this morning and I am still pi55ed from 3 days in London.
If I make my medical tomorrow - I am ready to throw down a few more on oom Piet, the Unamsil chopper and Sej's speedy recovery !
PS: Who left the &^%$ fridge open here in the Cape ?

Welcome back Gunss
Hope you are in town for a while - Bert and I are going to be down there towards end of July..!
He needs that long to make sure the Proheps kick in nicely before you feed him too much Tassies..!
Let us know what the plans are - if we need to bring it forward or set dates..

I still only have the two commitments on the Saturdays : 24 th (and Sunday 25th) and then Sat 31 July is out for me.
During the week - Fri or Sunday is fine with me

I wouldn't be surprised if an ICEBERG floated into Falsebay.
I'm sure I saw a couple of Polarbears running around this morning on my way to work.
We have a proper chopper pub at the airport, so send me a PM and we can get together

We'll catch up a bit later on the phone.
As previously discussed, Bert, Rhodie & the Yanks will be down here around July 25th. Bert & Rhodie will more than likely be staying with me, so we can schedule the "Dop & Chop at the WIN Helipad for any night convenient to all. As DeanW and others can't make it on a Friday night, I suggest we schedule it for a Wednesday night. Maybe July 28th would be good.
Please advise, so that we can firm up on the arrangements.

It is confirmed for Wednesday July 28 from 17.00 onwards at the WIN helipad in the V&A Waterfront.
I will provide the braai tools, some booze & some food for the out of towners, but would appreciate everyone bringing a "dop & a chop" for themselves.
Everyone is welcome, and if you want to bring your friends, do so. No problem. Its an open party and an invitation to anyone interested in aviation, and I'm sure a "coupla good wuns" (ales & stories) will be shared that night. I look forward to seeing you all.
Try to make it Autorotate. We'll organise a bed for you in Cape Town. Don't forget to bring the Nikon.....

Welcome back! I am going to try my best for the 28th. Flying a four leg that day ending up in JNB but will try and get down. Might knock on your door for accomodation but will keep in touch!

Talked to the wifey and she has other plans. Will be getting to you this week so we can book down and back together. I guess we will have to take Francois up on his offer to be hangar Rats for a couple days....Will call him also.

If anybody else is reading this I will bring my new Lightspeed ANR headset if anyone wants to bargin it away from me.Its the helicopter version. Nobody wanted the new SPH-4B Helmet or Nomex Flight suit so its in Vegas...

Guys, If we need to re-schedule the date to accommodate others, lets do it, but please let me know in advance. As it stands, the bash is still scheduled for Wednesday July 28th from 17.00 onwards.
