Salut,

9 PI is still flying, and some time 9 NA also. With the all same guys from Waltair.

3D KIK is also flying.

All of them in DRC!

Cheers,

Would 3D-KIK be the Caravelle of Transair Cargo in Kinshasa, the one formerly operated by Gabon Express out of Libreville?

I confirm for the 3D, it is flying with the same Captain (Franck)

For the Caravalle of Waltair, one of the 2 is not flying actually, and it hasn't moved for a long time.

what a beautifull plane!!!!!!

Cheers

another Caravelle spotted

At Bujumbura [ Burundi ] stands a rather dirty forlorn old Air Burundi Caravelle-that looks as it's been parked outside for a long time.

The ex-Air Burundi Caravelle has been parked since about 1992.

A couple of years ago it was offered for sale.

Besides the three actives (well, at least two), there are about 60 other airframes still around in various states throughout the world.

La belle, la rapide, la sūre, la douce Caravelle.
