SA Class 1 Medical

Does anyone have any idea where I can get an SA medical done in Europe? I'd prefer doing it in Germany, Switzerland or France, but would obviously travel elsewhere if required.

Thanks

Cool

All stations...

you can do it at London Gatwick, Aviation Medical Centre.
Can fish out details for you if you want.
There should be a list of foreign AME's approved to do SA medicals, on the caa website www.caa.co.za
Also, SA CAA can accept a foreign class 1 medical in order to revalidate your sa one, best speak to them as I don't have the exact reference.
Cheers, mooi bly

Thanks mate. Great idea. I guess I'll have to do the medical in the UK though. I tried calling the CAA three times this afternoon. All that I got was a recording promising me that they'd answer my call and that I should visit their website. But NEVER an answer! Total time on hold = 74 minutes! From Europe.

Great Service SA-CAA!
