Question Angola--Andulo Airport

Evidently this has a runway 3,500m in length.

Is this a laterite strip, or paved?

Latest Info on Andulo (2 weeks ago) is the runway is currently under repair with 25 tonne sand heaps down the centreline for the full length of the runway. The 3500 m is about right. IL76 and 707's regularly used to landed there.

Hope this is some help.

Thank you Makulu Baas

There are some interesting photos about of 707s landing in Angola, which I was told was Andulo; however, the pictures show a wide laterite runway.
