Question Can you guys please give some info..

Hello to all those you fly in Africa !

Need some info here. Thinking of going to Africa to hunt the mighty job.

Instead of targetting one particular country, I guess the 'west to east' option or the 'east to west' one is the way to go. So, on the basis of the origin of my passport, I've selected a few countries and I'll very much appreciate some info on each of these countries.

To make things even simpler, the questions are already there so if you could please use the art of 'copy-paste' and fill in the blanks.

T A N Z A N I A

1. Possibility of job for a Newbie? If yes, what sort?

2. Name of the airports/strips where jobs are hiding.

3. Is a work permit difficult to get?

4. If job found, does the company help with work permit?

5. Info on validation of foreign license.

Namibia is a good place.....West-air and Comav are good places to start, always looking for pilots, pistons through to turbines, maybe even a jet or two.
Nice country too.

Browse the boards a bit and you will find most of your answers.
Somebody said Zambia was pretty tough to get into and somebody else said Botswana is allways looking for guys(depending on the season)
Somebody else also said that Namibia was saturated so to speak.
Not heard anything about Malawi or Tanzania.

Happy hunting

Malawi is almost not worth it I'd say, unless for a nice holiday. Very small Aviation scene, almost non-existent.
