BBC report into the search for the missing US exchange pilot Capt William Schaffner who was flying an RAF Lighting,

His sons have been searching for answer.

That's an archived story from 2002!

John Nichol's recent book Eject! Eject! addresses this specific incident and totally shreds the UFO nonsense. Great book and highly recommended.
