Sad to see this ex Portuguese Chipmunk in poor state. Report says had an engine failure on takeoff.

To be fair and, believe me, I’m far from being a Daily Mail supporter, they are technically correct. It crashed while landing, albeit the pilot wasn’t expecting to have to land so soon!
