Saw this on Warbirds Info Exchange; Buffalo Airways CL-215 damaged on a remote lake was lightened and then flown out under a Billings Chinook...

Think I saw a thread about this a couple of weeks ago .. or else I can predict the future. How did it get to be nosewheel less (and presumably holed) in the first place.

Missed it, as indeed seemingly has ASN!
Covered here SAS to the rescue?. According to this thread it hit a log in water that punctured the hole.
