RYR vs AFR at BHX yesterday (7 Nov)

An AFR A321 line up and rolled ahead of an inbound RYR B738, resulting in an RTO and go-around, respectively.

Not a lot of clarity here (yet).

Was the RTO aircraft-induced (config warning, other problem) or ATC-induced?

The RYR appears to have been on about 3.5-mile final when AFR entered the runway (per Aviation Herald ).

Any ATC or WX info yet?

ADS-B suggests that the RYR went around from about 400' AAL, just under 1 nm from the THR, at which point in time the AFR was about 150 m beyond the piano keys.

Given that it's the UK, don't hold your breath for an ATC recording.
