I was briefly looking at this the other day, wasn't sure if the video related to the crash or not - hadn't realised it was "beer" he was drinking...

For sure there's a lot more to this than just an accident. I feel very sad and sorry for the young boy who must have been oblivious to his father's motive!

Well, my Portuguese is inadequate to plumb the depths of this, but I’m unclear on exactly what happened. The kid seems to be doing an adequate job on takeoff (hands off the throttles aside), so what happened with the crash?

Appears right on sunset both the video and text in the article. I don’t know the area or weather so cannot speculate as to visibility at the time.
Did they even have seatbelts on?

The video was not recorded at the same day of the crash, maybe a week earlier
