US Airways 1549 Rare Photo or Fake?
Years ago I was browsing Facebook and this photo popped up.
It was posted by somebody who found it on a US news website. The photo was apparently captured by cellphone by Roy Gates.

I have never seen this photo ever being widely published so I suspect this is a fake?
Then again it was uploaded on 16 Jan 2009 and so was the news article above.

That's crazy how somebody managed to take a photo of the impact!
I have read nearly all I can about this accident and yet this photo really shows there is still more to learn.
I recently found out that Sully let the speed get too slow during the descent and the EGPWS warnings were more priority than SPEED SPEED warnings.
Anyway what a photo!
