A black day for private flying in France

An instructor and two students died in an accident in the Isere and a father, his two children and the pilot giving them an air experience flight were killed when the Robin DR400 they were in crashed in the Gironde.

I was unable to open the links because it was requested that I accept the placement of cookies on my computer to do so. I'm sure that many (or most) sites quietly place cookies on our computers without notification, but I hate actively giving my permission to do so.

From your description, it sounds like a mid-air collision involving two different aircraft: one on an instructional flight, and one on a sight-seeing flight. Is that correct?

Regardless, it was a tragedy for all involved and their loved ones.

Indeed two distinct accidents. Sad day, compounded by kids being involved.
