Piper and Cessna down in Everglades
News Per news reports, a fourth body was located in the Everglades Wednesday morning, killed after two planes collided Tuesday afternoon in the sky over the Everglades. Three other people also died in the crash that is in western Miami-Dade County. The fuselage of one is labeled “Dean International” and FlyMiami | Dean International - Miami Flight School - South Florida. Two instructors on board.

It is a sad reality that a high wing Cessna and a low wing piper can get into relative positions that they cannot be seen from the other as they close. I've had first hand experience with the scare of this. Add to that, the possible distraction from an active lookout of eyes in during instruction, and the feeling that out in that vast area, you think you're alone.
