I have just read the BBC reported comments by Mrs May. I tried to relate her comments about the "Valiant hearts" of British servicemen and women and how they actively protect the nation and how highly valued they are... But then, I thought about the Armed forces covenant and, the collapse of future pensions, and the overstretch, and the pay freeze and 1% pay cap.
