On the subject of pilot's notes I too have been looking back and Reg Levy's succinct opinion of Lancaster, Halifax and Mosquito can be found in his post #1674 on page 84. I seem to recall that Reg did a tour on Mosquitos but chose Halifaxes for his second on the grounds that post-war airlines would need four-engine qualifications. And just what a career it turned out to be. It's all in preceding pages ...
