Not many people know there is the sequel for the GII incident over Queensland.
Speaking of the GII and apologies for the thread drift. There was an incident involving the GII at Brisbane on 22 April 1981 which involved emergency braking. The tyres were significantly flat-spotted!
The wheels were still at the Qantas freight terminal on 13 June.
