The simple REALITY is this: CX management is not interested in negotiating. The ONLY thing that will influence them is action. If we do not commit to said action, then you can be CERTAIN of the outcome. With action, we retake the initiative and put the management on the back foot. Doing nothing will only ensure the worst outcome. Action will at least give us all the chance of a different outcome. There is no other option. A million words on Yammer won't outweigh one good week of volatility in the sickness rate. We have to disrupt the operation over the holiday period, inviting pressure from the public and HK Govt. Everyone knows what they have to do. Do it.
