Just interested as an outsider the question:
Do you need an FAA ATPL to start training with (in this case) SKywest?...YES/NO
If "NO" then IPC currency not required - maybe desired or preferred but not a requirement, your final SIM check obviously with a Skywest checker who's a FAA delegate.
Certainly interesting option(s) that wasn't there a few years ago.
