The Bariquand & Marre engines are the first ones that powered, beyond any doubt, a Wright flying plane (on August 8. 1908). In December 1906 (not before) the Wrights already had an engine looking like the Bariquand 1908 model but this does not mean that the 1906 Wright version was capable to lift a plane.
usbhub, stop drinking the coolaid, it's doing irreparable damage to your brain.

What part of Bariquand producing licence built Wright engines do you not understand? The Bariquand engine was a direct copy of the engine the Wrights had developed, it was not one developed by Bariquand themselves. Bariquand, in any event, did not have an engine available until 20th March 1909, which they were providing to European manufacturers of Wright Flyers, such as Short Brothers, among others. Shorts were unable to get delivery of their first engine until October 1909 for their No. 1 biplane.
