It's apparently a local issue at Omaha only, but until the FAA can be certain that it's limited to a specific tank/airport, and not the distribution system, the notice goes out.
There was a similar incident with Avgas contamination in the Northeast a few months ago (metal dust), but that came from the fuel farm and affected a wide area, so I'm sure that' still on their minds.
