Now....in the good old days of LCY...it was an exhilirating 7.5 degree app, and less LDA TDA available. ( can't remember exact lengths ).
As I remember, only achievable by DHC 6/7/8 and Dornier 328.
Great fun in a 20kt SW and cloudbase at 300agl. The best seat in the DHC 7 was the No.2 Cabin Attendants !! Roller Coaster or what ??
The flare involved : Pitch change from maybe 5 degrees down to 10 degrees up plus putting on pwr to arrest descent followed by timely removal ( or go flying again ! )
Punters didn't seem too impressed !!
