Just reading your post about the RJX flight deck and Wha Hey! The photos I've seen suggest it does have an ASI tape on the PFD while retaining an analogue altimeter. Sorry can't remember where I got the photo from but I'll email it if you like.
I seem to recall the Avro RJ has the same setup - maybe a driver can confirm.
