In my "career" (alas not flying) I have flown many times in and out of LCY and I LOVE dat approach...thanks to the indulgence of some airlines (from Switzerland and Sweden to name but two) I have been privileged enough to sit on "spare seat" for the landing! I was once a rich banker person, learning to fly late in life (too short-sighted to do anything earlier grrrrrrrr)but being one in a million actually wanting to fly at short notice on business..and now I am poor person working in travel! I still hang out with flying buddies and ask as humble SLF to visit the flightdeck from time to time BUT I have to say that the best approach ever on flightdeck, in my life, has been into LCY from Bern and approach overflew my office!!! YAY!! (OK so I worked at Canary Wharf). I have to say that anyone to flies into/out of LCY have gotta be some of the luckiest commercial dudes/dudettes in the industry !!!
