Maybe the RAF wants the hangar back? As Scampton appears to have a future, and as so many stations don’t, perhaps having 25% of the hangar space allocated to a museum made no sense?
I was just curious. 4 C type sheds and only one squadron would imply plenty of space to me, but maybe the expansion of the Heritage Centre is happening.
