EYB, yes slots were a problem last night. Good solution, though, to give start/taxi clearances in slot order. Fairest way to do it.
One grumble though which you might be able to pass on... yesterday, we were parked on 8, with an Aer Lingus on 7. He started and then sat there for over ten minutes, presumably waiting for taxi. That meant we couldn't board our pax, and was the reason we nearly missed our slot. Maybe not such a good idea to give a start clearance unless the aircraft can taxi as well?
RATBOY, I believe LCY is too narrow for the C17. Pity, I would LOVE to have a go in that- I'm sure field length would be no problem for it. Any chance of a civil version...???
