I`m sure there is aways to go yet with determining the London-Med market from 2018 onward with multiple factors in play,for instance..
NAX capacity drawdown at LGW...MON capacity void both at LGW/LTN...
A lot of evidence EXS has made a market at STN with their particular model.
Smaller scale,EZY at SEN are finding the £££ spinners are their sun routes.
WZZ stating they will not be using any gained slots at LTN for Med flights.
NAX mentioned in the LTN threads from time to time as "considering" ops there,but no take up.
BAW taken up some capacity for sun routes from STN in the guise of BACF.
RYR announce for instance a return to STN-RMI albeit 2 weekly just this week.
Primera Air possibly working strategically too by blocking the North London/Cambridge
market from their Scandi competitor or just purely marking North of the River & onwards to the Midlands with BHX as their own nominal territory.
As mentioned above marketing spin coupled with the trans atlantics will be smart too.
Interesting times anyway.
